1.About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and CraftByte Studio, the operator of Quizoma (“we”, “us”). They cover the Quizoma Android app and its web pages (together, “Quizoma”). By using Quizoma you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Quizoma.
2.Who can use Quizoma
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without a parent’s consent, whichever is higher. If you use Quizoma on behalf of a school, company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
3.Your account
- You sign in with your own Google account. Do not use someone else’s account or share yours.
- Use a display name that is not misleading or offensive, and do not pretend to be another person or organisation.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been misused.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app (menu → Delete Account) or as described on the account deletion page.
4.Your content
“Content” means anything you add to Quizoma, such as quizzes, questions, answer options, hints, explanations, answers, poll votes and comments, remarks and feedback.
- You own your content. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You give us permission to use it to run Quizoma. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Quizoma, for example to show your quiz to people who have its code, or your answers to the quiz owner. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a short period or where the law requires us to keep them.
- You are responsible for your content. Only add content you have the right to use. Do not copy questions, images or text from books, exams, websites or other quiz services unless you have permission or the law allows it.
- Sharing is your choice. Anyone who has your quiz’s code or link can open it. Keep codes private if a quiz should not be public.
5.What is not allowed
Do not use Quizoma to create, share or submit content, or behave in a way, that:
- sexualises or endangers children in any way;
- is sexually explicit, pornographic or graphically violent;
- promotes hatred or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, humiliates or reveals private information about another person;
- promotes terrorism, self-harm, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking or other illegal activity;
- is false or deceptive in a way that could cause harm, including scams, phishing or impersonation;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- helps anyone cheat in an exam or assessment where this is not permitted;
- contains spam, advertising, malware or links to harmful sites; or
- breaks any law that applies to you or to us.
You also must not try to access accounts or data that are not yours, get around usage limits, overload, probe or disrupt our systems, copy or reverse engineer Quizoma except where the law allows it, or collect information about other users.
6.Reporting a problem
In Quizoma, open the Join screen, find the quiz in your list and tap Report. Pick what is wrong, add any detail, and send — the report reaches us with the quiz’s name and code already attached.
You can also email shahidanaseem1919@gmail.com with the subject “Quizoma content report”, whether or not the content is in a quiz you joined, or if you believe your rights have been infringed. Include the quiz code or name, what the problem is and, if possible, a screenshot.
We review reports and may remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts. For content that puts a child at risk or suggests someone is in immediate danger, we will act as quickly as possible and may report it to the authorities. You can also leave any quiz you do not want to be part of.
7.Running quizzes for others
If you create quizzes for a class, team or event, you can see participants’ names, answers and scores. You agree to use that information only for the purpose of your quiz, to keep it private, and to follow any rules that apply to you, such as your school’s or employer’s policies. You are responsible for making sure your participants meet the age requirement in section 2.
Scores are calculated from the answer key you set. Check your quiz before using it for anything important.
8.The service
Quizoma is currently free and does not show ads. We may add, change or remove features, set limits on how much you can create or join, or stop offering Quizoma. If we plan to shut Quizoma down, we will try to give reasonable notice in the app. Some features need an internet connection, and notifications depend on your device and Google’s services.
9.Suspension and deletion
We may remove content, limit your use of Quizoma, or suspend or delete your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use creates a risk for other users or for us. Where appropriate and allowed, we will tell you why. If you think we made a mistake, contact us.
You can stop using Quizoma and delete your account at any time. Sections 4 (for content already shared), 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.
10.Disclaimers
Quizoma is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure, that scores, timers, schedules or notifications will always be accurate or on time, or that content created by other users is accurate, appropriate or lawful. We are not responsible for content created by users.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
11.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, grades, opportunities, profits or reputation, arising from your use of Quizoma or content created by other users. Because Quizoma is free, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Quizoma is limited to USD 50.
This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12.Resolving a problem
We would like to resolve any concern informally first, so please contact us before anything else — most things are settled with one email. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under the law of the country where you live, including your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
13.Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the dates at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Quizoma after that, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
