Free practice test maker — retake it until it sticks.
Quizoma is a free practice test maker: turn your notes into a practice test in minutes, see your score and every right answer after each try, and take it again as often as you like. Share it with a class or a study group using one code. No ads.
How to make a practice test
Write or import the questions
Type them from your notes, paste a list, or import a .txt or .csv file. Or pick questions from a free template by topic and level.
Choose “Practice”
The Practice preset turns on Show Score and Retake: the right answers appear after each attempt, and you can go again straight away.
Take it — or share it
Take it in any browser, or share the 6-character code or QR with a class or study group.
What makes a good practice test
A practice test is only useful if it tells you what you got wrong and lets you try again. These are the settings that make that happen — each one a switch, with an ⓘ that explains it:
See every right answer
Show Score & Result shows your score and the full answer sheet the moment you submit, so a wrong answer becomes something you learn from.
Retake as often as you like
Retake Allowed lets you go again. Repeating a test is one of the fastest ways to move facts into long-term memory.
Feedback on every question
Instant Correctness Flash shows green or red as soon as you answer, with the right answer before the next question. Add a hint and an explanation to the hard ones.
Recall, not just recognition
Mix multiple choice with fill in the blanks and typed answers. With typo-tolerant marking, one missing letter doesn't cost the mark.
A worked example
Say you are revising a biology chapter on the heart. Three questions make a good start:
- Multiple choice — Which blood vessel carries blood away from the heart? Artery ✓ · Vein · Capillary.
- Fill in the blanks — The heart has [four] chambers. (Accept “4” too.)
- Typed answer — Name the valve between the left atrium and the left ventricle. (Mitral valve — with typo tolerance, “mitral valv” still counts.)
Take it once, read the answers you missed, then retake it the next day. When you can get it all right twice in a row, move on to the next chapter.
For teachers: practice before the real test
Share a practice version with retakes on a week before a test, then a test version with one attempt and results shown when it ends. Your results show accuracy for every question, so you know what to re-teach before the real one. Ready to set the real one? See the online exam maker.
