Do they need to download the app?

No. The code works on any phone or laptop. If they already have the Android app, the link opens there.

Can I hide the marks until I'm ready?

Yes. You can share the marks when everyone has finished, or let them show up on their own when the quiz ends.

Can students write their own answers?

Yes. Short answers can be marked for you, even with small spelling mistakes. Longer answers you can read and mark yourself.

Can I make a survey or a poll?

Yes. Poll questions have no right answer and no marks. You see what everyone picked.
