On each template page you can pick the questions you want — how many, which topics, which question types and which level — see the exact list, and open it straight in Quizoma Studio, where you check the questions and choose how the quiz runs before anyone sees it.

How importing works

In Quizoma Studio or the Android app, choose Import from file and pick the .csv. Every question appears for review before it is saved, so a template is a starting point rather than a finished quiz: change a question, delete one, or add two of your own. Duplicates are skipped automatically, and you can also keep the questions in your Question Bank to reuse in later quizzes.

The file format, if you want to write your own

The importer reads a plain CSV with one row per question. An optional first row of headings is skipped if its first cell is question.

  • First column: the question.
  • Middle columns: the options, one per cell. Empty cells are ignored, so questions with fewer options can sit next to ones with more.
  • Last column: which option is correct, as its number counting from 1. For more than one correct option, join the numbers with |, for example 1|2.

The question type is worked out from the options: a True/False pair becomes a true/false question, two or more correct options become a multiple-correct question, and anything else is single choice. Written answers, fill in the blanks and polls are added in the editor instead. A plain .txt file works too: questions separated by a blank line, with an asterisk next to each correct option.

Default limits: a quiz holds up to 20 questions and an account up to 10 quizzes, so each template fits in one quiz with room to add your own.

Every question in these templates was written for this site. If you spot a mistake, email [email protected] and it will be fixed.
